Multicultural Assembly Experiment
I took these photos on assignment for my advanced class at my high school. There was a multicultural assembly going on and I was excited to get a chance to capture each different culture. This shoot was very challenging. I have never taken pictures of a stage performance, and I was unsure of what I was doing the entire time! I took these photos with a super telephoto lens, and a macro lens, both at f/2.8 and 125 shutter speed to balance the lack of background light, and harsh foreground. I moved around to a lot of different angles, and distances, and it turned out better than I expected. I edited these photos in Lightroom 3. The best advice I can give is to just keep shooting! If something isn't working for you just change it up and experiment!
